Certified health coach, yoga teacher and photographer
“Two roads diverged in a wood and I – I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.” M. Scott Peck
After completing my studies as a photographer, adventure awaited and for 5 years I sailed the seven seas, working as a photographer on luxury cruise liners.
I returned to land in 2009 and established my own photography business, working as a wedding and lifestyle photographer. For my 30th birthday, I decided to celebrate myself and take a sabbatical to study yoga, a life long dream finally taking shape. I received my 200hr RYT at YogaLife in Cape Town August 2011, a year later I traveled to India and completed another 200hr RYT at Sampoorna Yoga.
Instead of becoming a yoga teacher right away I opted to focus my attention on growing my photography career and it took off – I traveled all over the globe documenting weddings in picture-postcard settings – Bali, Hawaii, Ireland and the Seychelles to name a few.
I got married to the most loving husband, gave life to 2 beautiful girls, swopped crazy city living for life by the beach, whilst working as a wedding photographer in the picturesque Overberg, Western Cape.
In 2017 serious heartache struck – my brother took his own life and whilst trying to make sense of it all I started doing a lot of research. This was when I stumbled across the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coach Training and I knew that this was it – the final return to the “other me”.
In honor of my brother I decided to embark on this ‘new’ road as Health Coach & Yoga Teacher. As a coach I assist my clients to shift their consciousness through behavioral changes, combining self-healing techniques for all Seven Chakras & exploring their true inner being.
When we get in touch with the energy within our chakras, we connect with ourselves more fully, and learn how to heal ourselves on all levels, creating true holistic healing.
